Episode #221: CELEBRATING OUR CUSTOMERS
Show Notes Transcript

How many days, weeks, months, or years go by before we let customer know that we appreciate their business?

The printed “Thank You” post card in the shipment box is a nice display of gratitude, but is it really perceived as sincere? Granted, the customer may appreciate the gesture, but how much more would it mean to hear, or receive the “Thank You” directly from us? Today we share five-minutes of
how we go about saying thank you to our repeat customers. Unique ways of giving thanks can send a genuine, and endearing message to customers. Cheers!

Speaker 2:

Hello everybody and thank you for tuning into this episode of the Simple Biz 360 Podcast. My name's Jeff Mason, and I'm gonna be your host for the next five minutes, and you can find us on YouTube Rumble tv, or 28 audio platforms, any one of your favorite , uh, audio directories. Or you can go to our website and even get the , uh, a podcast there too. Simple biz three sixty.com . We've got a book on Amazon and Kindle paperback or audio. And , uh, we're just so excited you're here . And today we're gonna be talking about celebrating our customers. So if you're watching today's video, you see this , uh, antique bronzed shoe in front of you. And the reason I brought that is , uh, just to, to illustrate some points, and we're gonna see some pictures later on as well in the episode. But this is an award , uh, I'm giving to one of my customers and they have sold 18,000 units of this shoe since it came out. Now, as you , you may know, I have a sales agency. So my daytime job is I actually , um, you know, sell a bunch of different , uh, law enforcement , uh, products and outdoor products in this particular shoe , uh, from Tama called the Maritime Assault Shoe. They've sold 18,000 of these shoes. So I wanted to, you know, have a luncheon with them. I wanted to present them with this gift and say, thank you for a job well done over six years. You've sold 18,000 of these puppies. So just a way to have some fun. You know, this will go a a a long way. It'll be able to put it in their showroom or on their wall. And you know what? It's just a way to say thank you. Uh, I wanna celebrate you as a great customer. You've been so , uh, meaningful to me and my income and my family, and just thank you so much. Or other ways to do it, you know, or simple things like this. You know, after a meeting, after a presentation, I love sending these little cards out. I put 'em in an envelope. It's just a thank you card, and I can actually write on the back of it. And it's, you know, if you're watching this, you can see this card front and back. It just gives me a little space to write a personal note and customers love that as well. What you're also gonna see on the screen right now is you're gonna see a picture of me getting , uh, cookies ready. Um , I've converted my kitchen into a , uh, basically a bakery where I'm now baking. In some cases I've baked up to 2,900 cookies. There you can see about four platters of some of tons of cookies that I've prepared. And then over here you can see some of the boxes. You know , I staged on my dining room table where I actually, you know, I'm gonna put all the , uh, the cookies in there and I drive around my territory for two weeks and I say, give cookies to people that I've made myself and say thank you for the business. And it's a great opportunity also to say, Hey, what are we doing right? What are we doing wrong? What could we be doing different? So it's also a great time to do some information gathering and look towards improvement for the following year, but customers love to know that they're appreciated. And we live in such a, you know, self-absorbed society that I think we as business owners oftentimes forget to let it out and show customers that we're appreciative of the business they give us. And let's celebrate that business relationship and that partnership. Why not? Right? So, so have fun doing this in 2024. We hope it helps and we wanna leave you with a tune that you know, Hey, listen, it fits right. It is rare earth. I just wanna celebrate. So enjoy this cut and we will see you in 168 hours .
