Speaker 1:

Hello everybody. Jeff Mason, your host of simple biz 360 podcasts. We are so excited today to talk about a new launch, three business tips in five minutes. This is gonna go on for a while and we are just trying to bring to you a swift format of powerful information. That's light, tight, and packing. A lot of might right now, this information I'm gonna share these ideas. Aren't mine. A few of them are, but so much of what I've, uh, learned over my career has been borrowed and taught from third party influencers, big name celebrities, uh, big name, business celebrities, and business heroes and, and people that I've rubbed elbows with where I've tried it. And if it's worked, I've applied it and if not, I've discarded it. So we're gonna take you down that path as well. So today we're gonna talk about humility, hunger and how so the first question is, are we really humble enough to even accept, uh, advice and third party influence? Are we able to roll that red carpet out and let that third party advice and let that, uh, information sharing even just massage our ears at all right. Are we able to embrace this, um, with humility and forge ahead and, and, and then do we know the why that's baked into each one of these aspects of improvement? And that's really a question we want you to ask yourself is why would this piece of advice be necessary for my business? What can I get from it? And then we are a customer centric podcast, and everything that we do is enhancing the customer experience or trying to attempt to enhance the customer experience. So our, our VO last question on the humility is, is this gonna be better for you, or are you doing this to make things better for your customer? And we hope you share in that passion to make things better for the customer now, hunger, are we wanting to improve? Do we really have that thirst and that desire inside us to take this information and do something with it? Are we thinking deeply enough about our businesses, where we say, you know what, that piece of advice might really work over here, or maybe over there, but we've really gotta sit down and, and, and contemplate the different aspects and components and mechanics of our business to understand if something's gonna work or not. And then, you know, what are our company weaknesses? Where can we shore up? What are we looking for that can be helpful. And then, you know, are we observing closely enough? What's going on? Not only in our own businesses, but what about when you're sitting at a restaurant? What about when you're out shopping? What about when you're on the phone with other companies, are you really seen and hearing and, and digesting what's going on out there? Because that's part of that hunger is I, I want more helpful information to help me in my business. And then how, how do we take this information and, and plug it into our businesses? Well, there's an easy method that I've followed it's in my book and it's something I like to share. It's try try it for 30 days, right? If it works, apply it, if not, then fry it and move on to something else. It's the try apply or fry method. It's that simple. So that's our, uh, podcast for today. We're gonna leave you like we do every day with a great rock and roll tune. And today we couldn't think of anything better than grand funk railroad, a play off of the grand trunk. Western railroad. These three boys were from Flint, Michigan, big arena, band, high energy band, foot stomp, and music from EBUS, um, EBUS funk, oh, man, this thing is so good. Enjoy, and we will see you in 168 hours.
