Hello everybody, and thank you for tuning into this Simple Biz 360 podcast. My name's Jeff Mason, and I'm your host for the fifth installment of our six part series about the experience economy. So today we're gonna be , uh, talking about multiplying, and you can catch us on YouTube, IGTV Rumble TV or 28 audio platforms. So today we're gonna introduce something that is an absolute game changer. And, you know, if I could only pay forward three things in my business career, what we're gonna talk about in a minute would be the three things I would pay forward. I'm absolutely, totally convinced that if you did these three things with consistency and regularity, you would change the trajectory of your business immediately, the financial condition of your household. Immediately things would just turn around and it , it's, it feeds into the experience economy and it knocks out. Here's that Pareto , uh, centric principle at work. Again, if you can do this, you will knock out 80% of your cust uh, your competitors seriously. You'll be left with just 20% of your competitors and you competing. So you can really , uh, you can really win friends and influence people with this. And you can really win experience economy , um, referral business and repeat business by doing these three things. So these three things are what we call the three why challenge. Now, the whys represent saying yes to each one of the challenge points. And the first challenge point is respond to 100% of inquiries, whether they're text messages, emails, phone voice messages, phone calls, somebody walks in your , um, establishment, someone walks in your restaurant, your place of business, and it's a face-to-face encounter. If they've got inquiries, if you can respond to a hundred percent of those, you are doing better than 80% of your customers , uh, competitors rather seriously. You really are. Now second thing is following up. Now following up is, hey, I got your email. Thank you so much for your inquiry. I don't have the answers right now, but I'm letting you know that I'm going to research it online and get back to you tomorrow for follow through . So follow up is just, you know, you're building the expectation, you're connecting your , uh, efforts to a an expectation you're setting with the customer that's telling them, look, I'm a follow up person, I'm gonna follow up for this. And again, if you can do this with great regularity, you are knocking out 80% of your competition by doing this. Now the third thing, the third yes, is the absolute game changer. And this is something that I think in, in the global world of business. It's the achilles heel of businesses, and that is the lack of follow through . It is huge. It is immense. And if you can be a person that follows through with consistency and completeness and comprehensiveness, you will mock out 80 or more percent of your com competitors and you will really start to win the experience economy friends, and , um, you know, admirers and the repeat business will come easier. The referral business will come easier, but it is really the combination of saying yes to these three components that is the game changer. And again, I mean this with all , all my heart, you know, after 35 years of, of watching this since, you know, really looking at this since 1988. So it's longer than that. I mean, I'm convinced that these three things are the game changing elements of feeding into the experience economy and winning in the experience economy. I really think it, I hope you agree. And you know, the song that's emblematic of this is yes, you can win , uh, customers back into your arms for repeat business and, and new ones for referral business.
